Composition
Levocetirizine 5mg. & Tablets Ambroxol 75mg. Sustained Release
Levocetrizine
- The R-enantiomer of cetirizine & Blocks histamine receptors
- Prevents the release of other inflammatory mediators
- Ensures rapid absorption from GIT & Does not cross blood brain barrier
- Provides relief from the effects, namley, nasal itching, sneezing and rhinorrhoea
Ambroxol
- An active N-desmethyl metabolite of the mucolytic, bromhexine
- It is an active mucolytic agent
- Play a major role in the lung host defence mechanism
- In the treatment of acute and chronic disorders characterized by the production of excess of thick mucus
